After the end of the world, the gods walk among the ruins.
They’re warped from the way they began—belief has a way of distorting things—but they’re recognizable to each other.
They smile as they reminisce about favourite centuries, historic wars, and celebrity crushes.
A sunburnt god in a T-shirt and jeans gathers them together, a leader once more.
He gives them their choice: create, or carry on.
Some have made it already. They fade with the dying light.
