Age: 16. Male. Not necessarily looking for a career as an author but still have an interest in writing creative pieces as a hobby from time to time - I really like working with technology but also consider law at times. There's alot of things to do.

Message from Writer

Not sure. About what to write, I mean. Still wondering how to make my writers' message seem more dramatic, though if I were to use short sentences followed by long, engaging sentences... maybe I'd actually have a shot at it.

I could attempt to write a detailed, nonsensical jumble of jargon containing everything from my last name to my dog's maiden name (if I could even clean up after one, that is). Instead, though, it seems to make more sense to simply ramble on and on and on by steaming through every single lexicon in the spoken human language.

And yet, that's it. I've ran out of things to say. So as a compromise, I would reccomend you check out my portfolio ;) I'd like specific and honest feedback, and am willing to give some too.

A Little Speech

FREE WRITING

It's that time of the year again. Except it isn't. No, I'll be frank with you all. This was meant to be a motivational speech, but hear me out when I say that most of us feel like this year could have gone slightly better. No, a lot better. We've been shunted away from the world, only being able to look upon COVID's bloody massacre on the other side of our windows. At first, we were all so rattled and...

The Rock

PROMPT: Mid-March Grab Bag

PROMPT: about the personality of an inanimate object. (by EllingtonStone)

The rock. He sits in the forest, slumped right under a tree. Receiving only dropelts of light that filter through from the overarching canopies, he is a passive presence to all that pass by. Nothing disturbs him, and nothing shall. He is at a calm with himself, as he has freed himself from the clutches of the underground below, yet is intertwined with it all at once - "from...

I See Stars

PROMPT: Mid-February Grab Bag

PROMPT: a descriptive piece about your favorite city/place without revealing the location! That's for your readers to guess!

I gaze into the bright, starry sky up above - so close in my grasp, and I only wish it were physically possible to pick one out and stare at it up close. Sometimes my soul yearns for the sights of the Northern Lights to just be with me, though my mind reassures me that it'd spoil the lovely surprise waiting...

The Hotdog Man

FREE WRITING

Busting noises of the city. The ring, ding-a-ding of bikes and the constant beep-beep-beep of annoyed drivers. The air felt cramped and stuffy, even in the enormous, spacious spaces of Times Square - or maybe it just stank. Was this the grand New York City he'd always dreamed of hearing? Yes: it God-damn was. Yet, something was missing. Something so fundamental to American society, which, without it, would cause their very society to crumble and fall apart:

Hotdogs.

What? So...

The Hotdog Man
