'I heard that life's to short, don't let it pass you by; we spend a lot of time crying over wasted time' NF (best artist ever)

Message from Writer

Im 15 years old and i have been writing since i was 9. I turned to writing as a coping mechanism, i enjoy writing songs, poetry, and essays. My strongest compassion is music, as i refer to it as my better half. Writing saved me, as my moon during dark nights and my sun during light times. Writing gives me my voice in the world and i'd be lost without it. Of course my dream is to be a famous song writer or writer, but even if i never make it there i still get so much out of it. Everyone asks what you would grab if your house is on fire, for me it's a no brainer; my songbook.

Was i a flower?

Liking someone is like picking a flower, you pick it for it’s beauty but eventually it dies, as your feels for that person. But loving someone, well. it’s like burning a candle. You light the candle, and it burns, for a long time. Even when it starts burning there is still wax there, no matter what their will always be wax there, because you’re never able to burn all of it, but you have to be careful, you have to...

Honestly.

FREE WRITING

There's a flame burning up inside of me,
like a hot air balloon, I'm floating up cause I am free.
I can't talk to people, so I talk to music like its my diary.
All I ever wanted was for someone to admire me.
Not lie to me.
But they lie to me.
What happened to honesty?
Can we be honest please?
Love feels like a disease,
with no vaccine.

True story.

I went to see my therapist Monday,
And I smiled.
She said she'd never seen me smile before.
I looked at her,
and I smiled again.
Because for the first time in a while,
it was real.
And for the first time in a while,
I wanna feel.

Wake up. Throw on the revealing top everyone loves. Force yourself into the tight booty shorts that guys stare at. Shove your feet into the blistering shoes that drive you crazy. Look in the mirror. You hate what you see. You skip breakfast. Spend hours on your makeup. Curl your hair. Drown yourself in your new perfume. Put your necklace on. Your earrings in. Force a smile. Look in the mirror again. You can’t even recognize yourself. You start to...

The carousel never stops turning.

FREE WRITING

life's just a carousel.
full of ups and downs.
I give the guy my token,
for another spin around.
the carousel begins to turn,
I struggle to stay on my horse.
soon I begin to learn,
I'm on this carousel by choice.
my horse begins to get slower,
I look up and my horse is lower.
It'd be easy to get off right now.
but I want another time around.
when the carousel again starts turning,
I realize I begin learning.
life is...

There are fewer than 170 plane crashes every year,
So why do people always fear?
Not even 700 deaths caused by boats annually,
so why are people always so panicky?
Only a 1 in 500,000 chance to get struck my lightning,
so why do people act like its so frightening?
The chances of that happening to you,
are always one in some high number right?
That's what the girl said who boarded the plane last night.
Now she's laying in...

My coffee spilled yesterday.
I was writing a new song,
and the coffee spilled on my page.
I've been thinking about it all day.
I watched as the paper absorbed it,
in a domino affect kind of way.
Now my paper is stained.
The coffee could have apologized,
but the paper wouldn't have changed.
so what does an apology even say?

You wanna know what's sad?
The unawareness of our people.
People are killed from natural things,
but the living are just as lethal.
How do people mask it?
The feeling of guilt.
From putting that person in a casket.
Your heart must not have been built.
In the time it took you to read that,
at least 30 people di*d.
And of those 30 people,
2 committed su**ide.
And for each of those 2,
at least 15 tried.
Whoever said...
