I'm a young beginning writer and don't have much experience, but enjoy creative writing and short stories. I love swimming, sketching, singing, and math. I am learning latin and french, and am an INFJ and ambivert. I'm always dreaming!

do you ever feel trapped?

beneath the endless sky
i feel so small

sometimes i wonder if its worth the struggle
knowing that one day,
all of this will be gone
and me along with it

i want to preserve this life
i am in love with it
and constantly at war with it

the crushing,
indescribable,
inevitable
emotion that consumes me when dusk falls
knowing my world is temporary
feeling my heartbeat
living a mortal life

the stars changing...

chasing raindrops down the cool car window
headphones on, Cavetown in your ears
Home
driving along winding roads,
watching fog cover the skies

pedaling bikes across bustling streets
hair flying in your flushed face
Go go go!
sipping soda in plastic cups,
and wiping hands on napkins

sketching dark lines on ripped paper
eraser between your lithe fingers
Words and lines
creating magic where your mind leads you,
forging stories from your dreams

weaving colorful threads between beads
a basket...

A Day of Flight

FREE WRITING

You're running over branches, through trees, over stones. Not being chased, but as one does when they sprint through a forest. Adrenaline is rushing through you until you come to a cliff. It's steep and drops off above a deep valley. You see the river below in the ravine and crows flying in the distance. You turn around for a moment, only to take a 360 and get a running start. As your feet leave the rocky ledge, you leap...

Bathtub

FREE WRITING

I have a story to tell-
about a kid, just trying to stay alive.
I cried tears to fill the feelings I had,
but all they did was drown me
I tried to fashion them into a weapon, but they always fell apart
I tried to drug them away,
but they were the drug.
So I sit in this bathtub,
filled to the brim
and overflowing with tymy fear
my pain
my suffering
my SADNESS.
Do I deserve to sit...
