I like the rhyming pattern you put here, I think it adds a lot to the song and I would love to hear this put to music if you ever do that. Great job! ~Zoe

The Arrow Of Love

PROMPT: Speechwriting Competition 2020

Once, I was driving somewhere and I saw a homeless guy and I asked my parents to stop so we could help him. I handed some money out of the window and he looked me straight in the eyes and he said, "Don't ever think you don't need an education, get an education, and do something you love. You will regret it if you don't" I almost cried, I have to admit because it was just so powerful to me that this guy would tell me that and I've always remembered that ever since. There are so many people out there like that, so many people that are suffering, and whoever can help, need to help. Thanks for writing this speech

What you said in the footnotes, about trying to have been like breaking out of childhood. I think you could do that by having the dad just saying some of what he says at the end and then the girl realizing the rest. Names suggestions: One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind is it okay to be proud of this country? Idk, I'm terrible at coming up with names...
