Bridal veils hung draped across the twilight; strings of gossamer. In the face of the unremarkable sky was euphoria.

“Nothing I haven’t seen before,” said a little girl, maybe, or her grandfather.

“Have you seen it all?” said they, and to answer their own overwhelming question, said again, “I suppose not, yet I’ve always found sunsets to be the prettier.”

And, “ah,” they sighed, “how wondrous the spilling of saturated hues! How splendid the eruption of light, soon to resolve!...
