CRASH!
It goes through me like a current.  It took a second to realize the tea in my hand was all over me.  The burning sensation was lost.  All feeling was lost.
The napkins are right there.
My hands are trembling.  My heart is beating out of my chest.
GRAB THE NAPKINS!  
My body cut me off.  The car door slams.  My stomach turns.  I feel like I'm going to be sick.
