All my life I've been looking for a passion of sorts. It wasn't until last year that I realised that perhaps the answer I was looking for was right under my nose: the written word.

Hi! Welcome to my account. You're all welcome here. I will say that I don't see myself as a very creative individual (I'm very fond of prompts, wouldn't you know?), but I hope to change that eventually.

I'm still figuring out where my passions lie in life, but if I were to pin it down at this very moment, I'd say that I genuinely enjoy learning new things, language and philosophy.

Criticism or praise is greatly appreciated!

Things aren't changing.
Jupiter's moons ain't waning.
But I am. A bit.
I'm changing little by little and I don't notice it.

I don't notice it, but I do. Suddenly. Not so suddenly.

A pensive sort of emptiness that creeps up on me.
Existence seems somethin' voluntary.

PROMPT: “Heaven of Freedom”

A World To Strive For? Then surely it is a world that Accepts Peace.

The water in World #276 is clean, fresh and cool.
The forms that dwell there, though not half-way resembling the species dubbed Human, are intelligent.
The Pipisky lack social structure, but seem content.
The surrounding landscape is filled with livid green plants World #3 had destroyed.
The Humans swear they will look after this one; for once I lack doubt.
The Future Generations seem more tolerant...

FREE WRITING

A futile-- a puerile, title.

For the words that fall from my consciousness unto my keys come from my very being.

But my words are truth in every fashion of dress, wrapped in the finest literary silk my tainted hands could gather, though I do so admit to keeping true to my blunt, cotton matter.

If we met as spirits in night, I know my perfidious resolve would blunder and out would blurt my perception of you.

It is...

My Heart is Like

PROMPT: "My Heart is Like"

I know what my heart is like:
the decrepit sky;
full of stars,
But she lies.

Logic is craved and unreceived, unfulfilled;
Astrology pummels astronomy
In her dark, useless guild.
