I am an aspiring writer that mainly does short and longer fiction pieces in a range of genres. I also write and give speeches in competitions/events and co-run a creative writing club at my school. I would love some feedback on all my pieces! :)

Message from Writer

Sometimes those creative juices just don't flow, y'a know? When those times come, get yourself a new pen, pull out a notebook and remember that the words you will print on your page will never be written again. Not like that. Not with your meaning. Not with your message. So don't let a little thing like your mind tell you what you can and can't do. And write to your heart's content!

...Or at least until you run out of pages.

Locked Together

PROMPT: Solidarity

Lockdown.
It sounds like the title for one of those psychedelic horror films.
Turning my all-day-everyday pyjamas into a straightjacket.
Spiking the coffee that shakes in my hand,
in front of the calmly panicking media on the TV,
with some form of morphine.
Maybe it's appropriate because I sometimes think I'm mad.
I sang on Wednesday.
To people on a screen.
Only the mad sing nursery rhymes at the age of 16.
But 16, 4, 85 and whatever else categories...
