FREE WRITING

It's as if the month
Holds no meaning anymore
September has not brought
Its perfectly timed harmony 
of Summer and Winter. 

Instead, the mornings are 
Darker than they should be
And the fruit is later by weeks.
A freshly bloomed cloud of colour,
