PROMPT: Playwriting Competition 2020
SCENE 1: It's dinnertime. We see Eleanor, the English princess, with a nice dress but ratty hair, and Clara, her lady-in-waiting, walk onstage and into Eleanor's bedroom with an ornate bed, mirror, and desk. Eleanor's fuming about her engagement.
ELEANOR: MARRIAGE?!? I am but thirteen! And to a Dutch prince? My father must be insane!
Eleanor sits at the desk and Clara brushes her hair.
CLARA: At least you shall see him tonight.
ELEANOR: I suppose.
Clara finishes...
