     He was there, in this house. He had tried so hard to leave, but it seemed so dark and foreign to him. He would start at the base of the staircase each time. There was some light in front of him, just enough to see where he could go. When he first started he had switched the kitchen light on to the right, trying to see. In return, darkness engulfed him in a wet cold blanket of sadness....

     Driving over the dark waters of the lake, Rani looked into the distance. She had taken a break off of work to go see her friends, so she was riding in their jet ski that Sara had brought over. Sara’s blonde hair was whipping into Rani’s face, but Rani didn’t care, and she just sat in the seat, clinging to Sara’s lifejacket straps.
