Lotus Flower...

FREE WRITING

Healing never stops, we just find new ways to do it.
life never 'gets easy', we learn to cope.
you learn to foster and create resilience within you.
maybe that's why I have always loved the lotus flower.
a flower that grows so beautifully from the deepest and thickest mud at the bottom of a pond.
a flower that faces many obstacles before reaching the surface and blooming to its fullest potential.
it blooms in the most unusual places and...

when friends become strangers....( last post until august)

FREE WRITING

I stumbled across a letter from an old friend,
its contents were long and wordy but they had their end.
It was just her way of saying she appreciated our friendship.

Imagine...

FREE WRITING

Just imagine,

where we comforted

the broken,
the lonely,
where we realized
the universal connections.
Just imagine.

The Cycle of Love...

FREE WRITING

I lost sight of the side effects of love.
The sad reality that good things get broken.
No amount of tape or glue can remove the regret
and uncertainty that comes from being betrayed.
The anger at someone's choices fades to hate towards
myself in the darkness.
What is the cure to self-doubt?
Love.
Then the cycle continues.
