I don’t trust myself to write more but I’ll try.
If I were to pass away, cover my grave with marigolds.
Sing me, ‘If The World Was Ending’ softly.
A nice flag would be ok as well.

Just a place. Beyond the eye. Where words become tangible.
Paper transforms. Ink spills into wishes. And that.
Is where we belong.

PROMPT: How to be a Good Creature

Sometimes when time is ticking away, it’s easier forgetting than worrying. Forget there’s a tommorow, a day after that and maybe millenniums further. Because for once, I want to breathe the fresh tingling cold air that bites your lips and freeze the tips of your ears and nose; listening to the soft, gentle and incandescent twinkling of the small waterfall of the garden; small notes of pure joy bouncing off worn down stone pebbles.

Then there’s the koi, swimming in...

Beyond That Alleyway.

FREE WRITING

Our alleyway, the one between corridors,

And classrooms or stalls,

But that was yesterday’s dreams,

And today is different, it seems,

Maybe I could’ve or should’ve,

Been.

In any relationship, friendship, companionship and literally any types of ‘ships’, it’s a two-way street, a two-sided balance, a carved double-sided coin. There are countless ways you can describe the connection – a few impossible to measure in words and others summed in no more than...

A Piece of Skies

PROMPT: Pocket Poem

I was there dancing in the wind, and what of it?

The winds curl on my toes, giggling at the clumsy bounces and lilting toes, my arms wide open ready to take the curling grey skies for a ride.
That’s my storm.

The uneven beat of raptures that resonate, what earthquake? Scares away the most devilish of ghouls and wandering spirits.
That’s my thunder.

I tripped to know the wet cold that always whispered before my most calming friend came...

Scared into Pretend.

PROMPT: Open Prompt

I’m scared.

To the point where there’s no use to cry.
Not a single droplet to my eye
Questioning as to why.

Staring at my reflection.
My tears are not for those who made them;
Each drop, for those who couldn’t.

Waking up’s hard.
Each day longer than the one before.
Cracked heart and severed core.

It hurts more when I’m alone.
When the mask melts from the heat.
My shaking hands keep it neatly complete.

Then i gave up...

Scared Little One.

PROMPT: Love After Love

Excuse me, you there, yes you.
spoke the little one in the wall.
Eyes ashen, bone dry and skin watery.

Can u smile? Just a little, for me?
he did, one tiny bit, just a peek.
One morsel he could keep.

knew you could, I wish I can.
he stared back, the boy did,
come closer.
Until the cold dug in, why bother?

Why do the clouds gather around our head?
They follow me, they do. Tied.
I like...

You cannot force your will upon another being.

‘Let no man belong to another that can belong to himself’

I seek to find where was this Latin law, for they say seeing is believing.
Women have been forced to face the mistakes at which they have not made.
By the stagnant powers and century old foundations that we have laid.

Why should we be the puppeteer? When the puppets are alive?
With bodies to move, hearts to beat minds to...

Death is so somber. Why i wonder?

FREE WRITING

Does Death have a life?
If he did would it be one of strife?
Except to roam the upper side, unseen.
Yet living only inbetweeen.

Seems...ok.

But is Death lonely?

Does he sit in silence when the world is empty?
Cries when the there is no soul yet untethered.
Doesn’t get up, because he cant be bothered?

Does Death long for a friend?

Someone to ask him ‘hello?’
But everyone he meets have the same end.
Because once they do,...
