Her face turned to the night sky, she asked, “Would you give me the stars?”
“I could never give you what you already are.”
Her smile was luminous as their lips pressed together, the heat sparking a star.
A thing of beauty, but already doomed.
Time would pass, and a moment would unfold, mirroring this moment, this dream. But it would be refracted.
“Would you give me the stars?”

Wonderful job. This definitely feels like the beginning of a longer piece, especially with the cliffhanger ending. Just a few things: Since it's online, it would be nice to see smaller paragraphs because long paragraphs are difficult to read on...
