Message from Writer

I'm Easton. I have difficulty with a maximum word limit under 10k words, so sometimes a piece of my work may feel unfinished if there's a word limit. I don't understand people who don't like to read pr write, hence my presence on here. Any questions? Ask them! I promise I'm not that scary.

I like the title, the end is really cool. Okay, not cool, but interesting. The topic, in general, is interesting. It's also written well.

Opting Out of Social Media

PROMPT: Unplugged: Op-Ed Competition

I like that you didn't tell others that they had to opt out as you have done but just suggested it. I did a writing piece also on this topic, but unlike yours, I didn't do an argumentative essay on it, I did a test. No social media for one week. In the end, I ended up being more in the moment and chose to not delete it, but use it more wisely. (Self-promo, skip if you want) I recommend checking out my essay, to see the entirety of the week and the other lessons that I learned.
