Hannah Blizzard
I am working on a Short Story collection called "Interior Angels" (pun definitely intended) as well as too many other things. Digital art is my go to medium but I've always had the urge to write my own stories.
Honestly I've written mostly poetry and DND campaign things because bigger pieces scare me but! I am trying to overcome that this summer.

Inside my room is a universe,
manmade glittering trinkets and a window looking out.
Despondent, my soul often sat, contained and unblinking,
a mind consciously stagnant in the night
as the digital timepiece blinks past 12.

And then: a sudden exhilaration.

The first steps outside,
my reality becomes the screen door clicking shut,
and a rectangle of light at my back.
Light are my bare feet on the grit and gravel,
and soft do my fingertips skim the...

Interesting theme! I really do think that in some areas it can be edited to include different punctuation as it would help to make certain lines more impactful.
