Enderdragon in my direction
Many XP it's such a blessing, yeah
Use all the XP to enchant my armor, yeah
Oh ohh, I...
Try to sleep on the darkest day,
but the mobs are in the way
Gotta kill them so I can go to bed... (bed)
This armor's really comfy when I put it on
Change it to peaceful so I'm not killed when I spawn
I see a village that is near
The only sound I wanna hear:
are the villagers when I trade them some gear
(Smelt) Smelt the iron so I can get some metal
Make an Iron Pickaxe to mine the rare ores
You know that I gotta mine all these diamonds
Oh yeh (Yeah)
Need alot of food on this hard adventure
Should I cook the pig or the cow?
I'm not sure
Maybe I should make a cake for my hunger

Refrigerators

I like to sit in front of the refrigerator.

They always seem to be a shining landmark of the kitchen. Their metal sheen throwing lines of warped light across the floor. Some are pearl white, others are obsidian black! I guess that you could even find a mix of a black and white! Pearl white or obsidian black.

"We live like we do because we are not them

The suburban area was dusty and grey; rubbish littered the street and a pungent smell of battery acid and feces wafted through the still air. The paving was caked in shadows from domineering buildings which stretched into the sky like mile-high iron bars. Graffiti coloured the dull walls with dry blues, greens, and reds. Giving a small piece of life to the otherwise desolate view.

Clockwork

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock...

A clock clicks in the background. Furniture lay scattered on the floor; tables and chairs upturned. A single light flickers on and off, casting curd-like yellow shadows across the floor. A fan whirrs in the corner of the room. Plastic bags filled with various books lay thrown across the floor...

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock...

The door was swung open, a well-defined boot-print planted on its white surface. Dirt tracks trekked throughout the room, the carpet smelling...

PROMPT: Poetry and Spoken Word Competition 2019

Dark choking black, white moonlight shines weakly yet blares.
Cold metal turns hot. Flashing brightly
Dry ground becomes wet, silence shatters. Ground undisturbed becomes shifted.
A mass collapses on the ground, the thump inspiring silence to everything.

Smoke clouds the air, blood soaks the ground. Waning moonlight telling us of their presence.
Soon people will weep, people will reap and one of them is getting paid.

The silence is howling. The people grow silent.
Silver carving red and red was all...

"So... Hey, I just wanted to call you..."

A fan swings idly over the dark and decrepit room. The top of its white blades turned grey by dust and grime. A single light flickers, seeming to cast more shadow than light; its dim glow casting black elongated figures crawling across the rotting floor.

"You see, I just got two tickets for my friend and me to go to this new mov- Oh what am I saying..."

Smile

FREE WRITING

She got out of bed, tidied her hair, had breakfast and put on her coat. As she reached for the doorknob she paused for a moment, her fingertips grazing against the smooth wood. Pulling out a sleek and tidy mirror, she looked at her face. She stared for a moment, then smiled. Her hand pulling at her ring idly.

The sidewalk was crowded. Shoulders bumped against shoulders like teeth of gears. Everyone's faces were grinning, smiling, laughing... a cacophony of...

Sun

FREE WRITING

The grass was green. Wet, soft between my fingertips. The smell of uprooted grass tickling my nose. The sun rises towards my grassy hill, casting it's light over my body. Highlighting my faults like a detective at a crime scene.
As the light washes over my face I hear the scuttling of insects within the lush grass. Some insects crawl up the mountainous blades, their antenna's quivering in the light and heat. Above the scuttling the sound of padded feet...

Past, Present, Future

The past
Irrefutable
Absolute
Hard-proven facts
Unchanged
Unbroken
The past never had not lost an argument
As the past is simply fact
Despite how we may deny it
It is without fault
And that drives us mad

The future
Will argue
Will divert
Will become liquid
It shall change
It shall break
Yet it shall never lose an argument
As the future shall never be fact
Despite how we will deny it
It will forever have fault
And that drives...
