Message from Writer

"mama bore a girl with a gun for a mouth

teeth dripping lead,

and lips bleeding red.

lashes curled for war,

onyx armour for eyes.

tongue waxing lyrical

or both beauty and battle cries."

PROMPT: 0-9

0 is the first time you look behind you, your bare feet sinking slightly into the damp earth as you pause.

1 is the snapping of branches you hear, and you turn to find nothing out of the ordinary with the perfectly lined pine trees.

PROMPT: Five Endings

1.) "Yes," she said aloud, laying back in the grass, letting her broken wings spread out underneath her. "I think I'm okay."
2.) She was finally at peace.
3.) As far as the eye could see, angels littered the ground. The darkness had won.
4.) One, two three, four; the devil's come a' knocking at your door. Five, six, seven, eight; close your eyes, you're hell's gate.
5.) Reaching out, her hand wrapped around a cold, lifeless feathers of her...
