Message from Writer

To me, writing is allowing others inside of your mind. Your very being. Your words offer comfort to people you've never met. Help them through problems you know nothing of. I read because I take comfort and refuge in other people's minds and experiences - I write because I want to share that comfort with others.

The heaviest of wings

FREE WRITING

(lack of) you

PROMPT: The Unknown

I do not know much about moving on. I don't know how to forget you or how to live without you. I find myself waking up morning after morning without you, struggling to breathe because all i can feel is a distinct lack of you.

I don't know how to make this smile reach my eyes, or, better yet, my heart. I've forgotten how to laugh. What once was so natural is now trapped inside, visible but unable to be...
