Seventeen when she met him
He was seventeen too,
He looked so good with the hat on,
said he ain't like the color blue,
Should've known then to drop him-who doesn't like the sky's hue?
Well, you.
Must admit, she liked a little hood and a hit,
But she didn't know (well she did, but nothing was sure)
Only thing set in stone:
He had a baby on the way and he ain't make it on his own

Red Candle stick holder

PROMPT: Intentions and Invocations

May the new year be a red candle-stick holder,
like the calavera sculpted from Timberline clay.
Red is new beginings
I pray the New year be new,
really and truly reincarnated.

May the new year hold hope and love,
A red candle stick holder bearing burning wax.
May the new year bring warmth and old friends,
A red candle stick holder carrying the memories of loved ones.

May the new year be the brightest shade of red recorded.
