She reflected on her mortal life,
Knowing that it would all be gone soon
As teardrops dripped from her glossy, grey eyes.
Rain dappled the windshield,
Pressing the fallen leaves against the glass
And kissing them softly.
There was no noise to be heard
But the water dappling the roof
And the wind caressing the shivering trees.
She sat, arms limp at her sides,
The world outside unknown, as the
Streams of water and gold-dusted leaves
Kept away the monochromatic...
