PROMPT: Why I Write

Life is made up of light and shadow. Bright hope and dark despair intertwine to create stories, smudged shading and thick crosshatching next to each other in a strange juxtaposition.

I write to recreate that. Because on the bad days, the ones steeped in darkness, sometimes you need a little beauty to provide the light in the shadows around you.
