PROMPT: Mysteries Abound
We don't know what it is to live as anybody but ourselves.
We don't know where the light will fall in one hundred, five hundred years' time, when we are history, and our children are sifting through the shattered glass of our intentions, tentatively, fearful of drawing blood.
We don't know, or we don't appear to know, how to exist without causing pain.
We certainly haven't agreed whose fault that is.
