warning; I pretty much never stop writing. (aside from the year I've been unwillingly MIA)

Message from Writer

Some words are chosen, some come with the wind. All that fall in between are merely strangers of the alphabet.

PROMPT: Extraordinary in the Ordinary

Light leaves, loose, balloon in my teacup. The
Outside world shrinks to a penny
But for some reason --
Our hearts, we can breathe all of a sudden

Foxes tumble past, juniper-eyed glows
Fright the spring air; I have found my penny
It is in my teacup, I wasn’t even looking
Imagine the things I’d find if I
Just looked a little more often.

PROMPT: Poetry and Spoken Word Competition 2018

No metaphors lie, weightless across
Black stretched sands. Pulling
Me into you again, by the seashells

That claw out my green eyes while I sit with emotion so far removed from malicious intent.

I, willing, fall once again,
Letting her hair, tangle into the triangles of my body— geometric synchronicity. Passivity in rose bud
Temptings,...

PROMPT: “In January”

I ran into you: last Wednesday.
It was the 4th, I think, I'm not sure,
Wearing my star wars t shirt from a
Charity shop.

I knew it was you before I breathed,
On stanier way,
Your features stark against the january drizzle--
Swaying comfortably, it broke you apart.

This is the Hedge’s end, you’ve said; it says it so.
So why are you here, pearly man?
My hair has never looked
Worse - it matches you.

I did not...
