Writing is an outlet of dreams, hopes, fears, and anger. No one piece is quite the same and every letter is worth all the frustrations. I love writing I don't think I could ever bring myself to stop.

Never throw your work away. Every word is valuable.

That Summer

March 16, 2016

PROMPT: Fissure

Something broke that summer,
and the cracks run down deep,
straight down to my heart.

Before, I thought I had it bad,
but now I know better.
I long for those days.

But it will never be the same.

Because something broke that summer,
And I think these scars won't ever heal,
straight down to my heart.

And I may try to forgive,
But I cannot forget,
Your actions spoke loud.

Louder than any words ever could.
And that's why I broke that summer.
