Sleep Paralysis

PROMPT: Two Tongues  | GROUP: Poets and Wordsmiths

The demons spoke to me,
and I layed there,
in hopes that this would end.
The morbid sight was infinite.

Their red eyes glared at me,
their mouths whispered melodies,
yet their mouths stood still,
like ventriloquists,
yet so much darker.

There voices were filled with sorrow and regret.
There minds were full with rage and agony.

I couldn't move,
my life was in idle.
When ever I tried,
I wouldn't budge.

Honestly if I could move,
I wouldn't.

I really liked your piece. It managed to interwave a short and sympathetic story about sleep paralysis. I like the entire tone of this piece and the images of the chair and windowsill add onto that mysterious creepy vibe, one...

English:
Crumpled papers litter the floor,
Pencil is poised over a fresh page,
Silently laughing at the lack of words.

The cursor blinks on a blank page,
The emptiness a taunt.

For days this goes on,
No words,
No poems.

Words so close,
Yet too far to use.

The flow of creativity is dry,
Nothing is forthcoming,
For once the mind is silent.

The payment of a writer’s way of life.

The trade for weeks of poems is due,
Weeks...

Quand t'arrive, c'est avec les cannelures
de le vent sous les branches de les arbres

incoherent d'un courant doux, et les autres
    Bruits gentils de la nature.

An inflamed void burns in my heart
Beneath my skin is a forever battle
enraged because of
what color lays atop my bones

What am I?

I feel like my godmother
I resemble her brother
I have the heart of our own lion
My laugh is to the beat of a copla
My childhood is depicted in a
beautiful language
and blurry lullabies
and birthday melodies
and party games
and a connection to who I am

but it was all...

The raven-haired beauty
Away at her duty
She shine so bright
She could light up the night
She hides behind her book
Ensnaring me like a hook
She smiles at me
My soul is free
Her skin so pale
More valuable than the holy grail
I couldn't see her strings
Or her devilish wings
So I tell you this time
For any girl do not put your heart on the line

The demon spoke to me,
