the break and breathing of a postmodern sappho

Message from Writer

Due to recent, very upsetting actions by the WtW team (and their ignoring of any criticism of the site), I've decided to leave the community. I wish I could tell you where to find me on Twitter and Prose, but the very reason I am rewriting this is because my previous message was deleted for having the audacity to share where you can contact me. I wish you all the best.

Love and War

PROMPT: Love and War

Why would I know either?
Would I dare be such a cynic to compare them?
How naive am I to distinguish them from another?

If my love is sin then the war in my mind is divine.
If I am at my breaking point.
which of the two will be my demise?

Beguile my womb and tear apart my heart.
If one child is virtue and the other is vice,
which one owns the blade?

The word choice here is so good, and the way you weave all of them together, makes everything so fluent. It's an amazing poem with a very relatable dilemma. This definitely has a very engaging way of telling a problem, and it's something that I would read back again!
