the battle

January 28, 2019

The battle took half my life and yet I feel no remorse to the souls who lost their lives to my hands.

My hands now calloused
Is like a map
A map that leads nowhere

I watched them kill her, rip her to shreds and with it my heart.

My heart now partially non-existent
Is like a machine
That lost it's fuel

With all the gory crap I witnessed all I can see is blood.

Everything I see is red
Except for the rose
Which to me is black

My mind is now senile, wasted away like the rest of me

All I think about
Is how I'm not human
How I'm scarred for life

If everyone has a soul, does it mean I'm no one?

I drift around the remains
Like a leaf on a windy morning
Not knowing where I'll end up

I'm wounded in so many different ways, not because of the knife that pierced me but of your absence that haunts me.
my grammarly isn't working, so i hope there aren't any mistakes.
