Isla-Grace Davies

United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

My name is Isla and I always try to do the write thing.

i don't think i can ever read the poems i wrote you again because my heart is already broken enough and i just wish it wasn't like this and i miss you and i'm sorry

FREE WRITING

19
i wrote you a hundred thousand words
and lines that strung together
i typed them up and strung them up
to dry in the warm weather.

i left to see the bright, bright lights,
for just a day or four
whilst i was away the wind picked up and
scattered them on the floor.

and how ignorant you must think me
as i never saw you couldn't read
but you were mad and i was mad
one-sided decision. agreed.

the thrilling conclusion
and probably my last poem.
