Another Nameless Piece Of Poetry

January 18, 2019

It was a tear in my skin, a rupture in which the sorrow was infinite

In a world of forgotten promises
I promised myself never to fall in love again
After all, heart ache is for people with hearts
And I seem to have lost mine a while ago

An incurable wound, in which tears and blood alike leaked from

I almost kept my promise
Until I forgot it
Until I could stand it no more
Until I met him

And all that remained was a faded scar, one that will not disappear

THIS IS GREAT. I love the use of italicized lines that really made an impact on your piece. (Also LOVE the profile pic. Benedict Cumberbatch is my favorite socio-human)
