"We should've created the society that is based on who we are and not on who we want to be, causing unsatisfied and unhappy people losing their way wanting to be someone else." Lately, I've been thinking about how society shapes everyone and everything, so I absolutely love this line, because it encompasses the (biggest) problem with society, in a simple, yet profound way.
A contemplative sadness.
What was your inspiration for writing this?
It was a really beautiful piece, with a distinct message, one that really needs to get around. However, I was a little confused here and there as to what exactly you were trying to get across. I LOVE the fact that it sounds like an internal monologue, but it gets a tiny bit confusing at times. I loved the ending, but maybe try tweaking the questions just a little, maybe keeping more to the specifics of what you were talking about through the course of this piece. That's all though, it's an absolutely beautifully written piece, and I love it! :)
