Shallow silver reflections, 
In which so deep you drown.
The smile which you once wore,
Has more frequently become a frown. 
You look to me everyday, 
In hopes that what is happening isn't true.
Your eyes become sunken, your skin becomes gray.
No matter how often you look at me, you cannot change the truth,
For I am your mirror, in which you see your lost youth.
