PROMPT: Five Endings

4
- I closed the book. I was ready to live again.

- So, beyond the danger and the chases, it was a pretty good day.

- I laid down my pen and took a deep breath. Things were going to get really cool from now on.

- Marshmallows melted the chocolate of his s'more as he crammed it into his eight year old mouth. Life couldn't be better.

- I felt for my dagger, but then realized I wouldnt' need it anymore.

These are all so unique and well done! The first one seems that it could go down so many directions. I like the character's voice in the second ending. You can already tell this character has a humorous take on their situations and in just one sentence you set up a character. That's amazing! The third one is similar to the first one where it could go in soooo many different directions. And the fourth one is really well-written, leaving the reader with nostalgia and reminiscing in taste of s'mores. Love your word choice with, melted, crammed, and the simple, ¨Life couldn't be better". And what a great last ending! It's poetic and I'm sure with whatever story went along with it, it would be absolutely beautiful.
    Great job and keep writing:)
