Snow plows were everywhere, but she was the fastest one. Leaping, burrowing, charging through the several inches of snow that had already piled up. The front half of her pounced upward, while her hind echoed the movements, a bucking motion. She looked as though she were a bull trying to lose a hidden mastador. Like a dolphin crashing through waves, pure electricity pulsed through her as she barreled her way through the disappearing soccer field. Faster and faster she bounded with only an occasional glance back, as if to say, "Hurry up! This is fun!" Then all of a sudden, a stop. A drop. A roll. Wriggling through the snow, scratching invisible itches, momentarily disappearing from view. And then, a face reappeared. Two loving brown eyes were all that could be seen as she surfaced. Our golden retriever was now white.
