Laments of a High School Girl

Your thoughtless words disgust me
Sentences dripping with racism, sexism, and everything in between
Careless crude names fall from your mouth,
like a flurry of neverending snowflakes
Each word, sentence, paragraph, and story
is like toxic slime oozing from your mouth,
infecting everyone in your presence
I wish I were deaf.
If only I could drown out your words with something,
anything
If only I could gather up my courage to confront you and all your cronies
If only the world were fair
and full of rainbows and glitter
