Is Normal Perfection?

September 26, 2018

Normal
What can we be?
Emptiness in imperfection
The weight of life bears down

I don't try to be
I don't want to try
I don't want to play by the rules

Long live in infamy
A false image we have
Disconnected and distorted
What does it mean?
Perfection

This flows amazingly both forward and backwards. It's very creative how you tied together both normalcy and perfection. I really like the line, "disconnected and distorted". The alliteration, word choice, and how it let the poem flow together was really well done. This was a wonderful take on the prompt that I can see you spent a lot of time crafting this to make it perfect. Great job and keep writing:)
