Jealousy

Jealousy is glittering green,
A snide and envious snake.
It’s the bitter taste in your mouth,
The sight of him does make.

Jealousy is roaring red,
A fictitious mask of calm.
It’s the feeling of clenching fists,
Of nails dug into palms.

Jealousy is broken blue,
That can’t hide its true face.
It’s pleading yells and quiet tears,
No longer out of place.

Jealousy is burning black,
Light up your life in flames.
It’s ashes of what you once had,
Before your heart played games.

I like how you highlight that jealousy is not just one colour, that it's more complicated than that, which it really is. It's difficult to capture an emotion in words, but you've done it well here.

The imagery in this just gives it a deep mood... it's almost real! Great job!
