I am from...

By: NATBAT

PROMPT: Where I'm From

I am from
Books, soft as silk
From butterfly milk
From music, the trees
The piano keys
I am a ladybug
Flying high
And a slight tug
From the wings of the sky
I am from love
Bringing me home
I am a shove
Of a clover comb.
I am from
Cute little bats
in the night sky
And from ballet flats
and one little tie
and a little tea, chai
I'm from roses,
and from the sea,
but most of all,
I'm from me.

This wording is brilliant! I love the way that it is written, describing everything about the writer and her heritage (I think?).

This is beautiful. I may adopt this type of writing in one of my poems! :)
