On the world's final day,
When the Sun refuses to shine,
When our cities topple and destroy,
When the grass turns yellow with decay,
And our earth crumbles to dust,
I will speak.
I will speak of thoughts left unsaid,
Words that begged to be heard,
But were left to collapse because of fear.
I'll tell a thousand stories that I was fearful to tell before,
And my mind
will be clear.
