Ella Hambleton

My name is Ella, my game is... writing! I love to write about nature, and I always aim to create a real mood in my writing, whether it be that warm fuzzy feeling, or a tense, and foreboding one :)

Immortal Love

January 18, 2016

The shift and roll of rubble is lost in the mist of the moutain.
A lone peak protrudes above a white blanket of clouds, a jagged knife cutting through crystalline air.
The stone breathes, an immortal life unseen by the narrow gaze of those who die, a life which loves but one other.
A man whose frozen hands are raised in triumph, whose feet have made a one-way path through the snow.
A man whose last breath will be spent whispering to his mountain, and whose ears will be the only ears to hear the mountain call back.
