PROMPT: The Unknown

7
I do not know much
about knowing

I do not know much about
where my neurons and synapses end
and my soul begins

I do not know much
about living-
How to breathe underwater without drowning,
to take blue and turn it to yellow,
to soar without wings

I do not know much
about love-
or how it is supposed to feel-
I want to crawl inside someone's skin and
stay there, I want them to
carve their names into my spine,
eat my breath, drink our sorrows

I do not know much
about myself-
If I was watercolor, if I should
stain, then, I too, could be erased

I do not know much
about what is real
and what is mine-
And where they meet and end

I do not know much
about the universe-
Why stars burn and die
and burn again;
Or gravity when it is weak,
or darkness as light

I do not know much
about knowing

Not much at all
Woo. Little bit of a ramble. I wrote this in a rush, so if you see any glaring mistakes or things that really don't make sense, let me know!

This was creative and I like that you embrace not knowing about things. Well-written! :)
