Please don't take what I say the wrong way
I swear I have the best intentions in mind
Even if I'm not careful with my words
Even if they end up rough and jagged instead of cool and smooth

Please don't leave
I swear I won't take what you have to say for granted
I'll listen to every word
I'll help in any way I can

Please just stay
We could do so much together
So many memories
So many words and thoughts to exchange

Please just accept me
I know I wasn't a good person
But things have changed
I've changed

Please believe me
The world has awoken me
The world has changed me
I have changed me
