the black dome above you
that caps off the earth
has been there
forever
and will be there
forever
adorned with winking orbs 
lights that form pictures
that disappear at night
only to materialize 
once again in the dark
above you
that will reassure your
uncertain mind and 
tell you that
everything will be ok.
