I'm currently in high school and I enjoy doing writing, journaling, reading, playing sports, playing guitar, crocheting, and musical theatre! I normally stick to writing short stories in the genre of fiction, but I also write poems every so often.

The Walking Sun

FREE WRITING

   "Look daddy, look!"  exclaims the little girl.
   
   "What is it darling?"  her father replies.

   "The sun is moving!"  squeals the girl, as she prances across her yard.

   "Oh really?" 

   "Yes, can't you see it moving?  It's like it's following me."

   "Maybe you should stop running," she obeys, "is it still moving with you?"

   After a pause she answers him, "Wait--It's not moving anymore."
