Message from Writer

The use of a pen makes me feel rusty.

June 4, 2018

A lost night away
Cold smokes of cigarettes
Smeared fragances of strawberries
Taste like burnt alcohol in your throat
And crimson hearts liquefying in your mouth
Even white roses bleed red
Pomegranate crystals from their ruptures
Poisonous and bitter, you thought

Exhausting nights, awake dreams
Gazing at the universe
You believed the midnight sky was lying at the end of your eyes
Where dawn couldn't reach to give you breaths
You remembered the stars were never so close to the spheres
To drink
All your memories return when you woke up
It's a pale winter morning

''Tell me why you're alone.''

This is so beautiful. I'm running out of words to describe your poetry. Your pieces are always beautiful.

Oh, thank you! I wrote it when I had writer's block, so I didn't expect it to be this good. Glad you liked it.

The ending is amazing, and really puts a lot of emphasis on what the rest of the poem means. Really good job! :)
