I know it's a little weird to be writing about Christmas shortly before school starts, but that's all I could really think of for this prompt, and I really wanted to do it!Thanks for reading, and hope you like it!

PROMPT: Writing Small

1
"Grandpa!" we called as he came through our front door on Christmas Eve. "Tell us a story!" "Yeah!" my brother called. "The Night Before Christmas!" Grandpa sat with a grin by the fireplace. He struck a matchstick to light the fire. "Okay, okay." he said. "'Twas the night before Christmas..."
The words in bold are the required words for the prompt.

Maybe a 'Grandpa's Matchstick'? I like this piece.

How about "Christmas Story" or "The Matchstick Which Lights our Christmas"?

What about "The Night Before Christmas?"

Hmm, I'm not sure, maybe "An Old-Fashioned Christmas"? It could have something to do with the situation; for instance, if this is the narrator's first Christmas in memory, it could be related to that. Also, remember to indent every time a character speaks. Good job!
