Watching the moon is like swallowing ice cubes.
It leaves an ache and seems like a mistake but you never forget the feeling.
Most sensations are temporary, they flitter across your skin like shadows,
only tangible if you pay attention, but the moon's ice can be felt years after.
I remember standing in front of my old refrigerator, terrified of dying with the moon in my mouth.
