In a stuffy dark attic,
at the top of a house,
away from the traffic,
lives a quaint little mouse.

He's always very careful
when he's looking for cheese.
His trip could be uneventful
or he could meet the Siamese.

In a tiny dark corner
he hides his gems,
for when the days get colder
he'll need lots of friends.

Oh, the adventure of living
his life in a farmhouse,
it's quite fitting
when you're a such small, little mouse.

I love the frist stanza, but especially the last line, "...lives a quaint little mouse." So cute and eye-catching!

I smiled(I know that's not a feeling, but I don't really know how to describe what I felt). It brought back tender memories from watching childhood movies.

What inspired you to write this cute poem?
