my pen name is flora kane. i'm seventeen. i'm also a slytherin, infp-t, christian, maladaptive daydreamer, and generally insane. est: 3.30.2018.

Message to Readers

spun up quickly at the annual church camp i attend. partly inspired by how tired i am of people saying they're "christian" and acting nothing like it. i don't know what exactly i meant by this poem however. i had good intentions.

slip against integrity.
white lie, the foot which righteous
sits neither nor. 
physical, heavy completion of
a constant contradiction, 
this drunken good did sigh.
fruit dance; nine. 
a square-root curve,
the mount upon which
flesh-finger points, saying
"truth! truth!"
with confidence, yet no conviction.

how i wish they'd stop yelling for just one moment. if we all thought for a time, we'd realize what's right and wrong. the good is always love.
